From ECDA to Grade 7 we utilise both the Zimsec and international Cambridge checkpoint curriculum. This ensures that our pupils are fulfilling the requirements for the national Grade 7 exam whilst also learning in a style that supports child centred learning.
Students progress through the International Cambridge curriculum used for English, Maths and Science which allows them to continue successfully to the senior college and be well equipped for a fully Cambridge environment up to A level.
We believe that learning is an individual process and we seek through our inclusion policy and active learning programme, Learning For Tomorrow, to ensure that each pupil receives the support and encouragement they need. This is done in and out of the classroom, through play, small and large group work and early interventions with the assistance of our local team of professional educationalists and other relevant professionals.
All of our pupils are encouraged to be active learners, participating in a variety of activities that help them discover their talents, gifts and passions at an early age.
