We believe in helping boys and girls to become Ladies of Distinction and Gentlemen of Integrity who will go out and make disciples of all the nations by teaching them the truth, which is the Gospel of Jesus Christ in every area of school life.
We, at Petra College Junior, believe in the development of the whole human body, through the academic and co-curricular programmes which are solidly supported through the continuous development of staff so that they deliver a high standard in all they do.
The school offers benchmarks in academics, as we have subscribed to the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint Tests in Grade 6 and the ZIMSEC Examinations in Grade 7. These are taught in line with our mantra, Learning for Tomorrow, a programme designed to offer the curriculum in a fun, active but driven way. Learning at Petra College Junior is interactive and provides children with opportunities to learn using non-traditional methods. The co-curricular programme supports learning in the classroom as an extension of academics. This gives the children the occasion to integrate what they have been learning in class and utilise it in other areas of school life.
