AJ finished at Petra in 2013 as a steward. He then attended Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas where he studied a BA in Psychology and Mass Communications. He just graduated Magna Cum Laude this December 2017.
Between finishing at Petra and graduating from Ouachita, he completed two internships with different non-profit organisations based in Florida and England and there, he gained insight and skills in what it was like to work in a non-profit environment which has inspired his career path.
He has applied to study a masters of social science in organisational psychology and international management at a university in Germany starting in March/April this year. He is still waiting to hear back about his acceptance and then needs to sort out his visas. His final goal is to work for a non-profit organisation in some sort of Human Resources or organisational health role. He’s passionate about Southern Africa, and he hopes to use his skills and work experience through established non-profit organisations to promote economic and social equality for communities here.
